Sir David Attenborough will visit New Zealand to discuss his career and the natural world in a live stage show.
It will be the first time the legendary British naturalist and documentary maker has appeared live before New Zealand audiences.
Kiwis chose Attenborough as their most-admired man in a 2015 YouGov survey. He beat out the likes of Richie McCaw and the Dalai Lama for the top spot.
Attenborough will appear at Auckland's Civic Theatre on February 2 2017 as he tours New Zealand and Australia with his A Quest For Life show.
The show will see Attenborough discuss his career and the changes he has seen in the natural world since he started filming Zoo Quest in the 1950s. It will be the first time he has appeared on stage in New Zealand.
Tickets for the Auckland show go on sale on November 21.
Known as the "father of the nature documentary", Attenborough has written, produced, hosted and narrated countless award-winning nature-focused programs. He has devoted his life to celebrating and preserving wildlife.
